       ...This quote expresses how being in the act of corruption is often not our concern. Being in the offence is when you become physically involved. A person behind the curtain has no purpose to become involved and to help stop, but if they just know about the situation, they are involved. Consider maybe the person/people behind the curtain of corruption are being corrupted themselves and cannot find the courage to stand up. Or maybe their minds are corrupted and feel corrupting others isn't an act of crime. Either way they are cheating themselves because being behind the curtain is not solving the corruptive problem. The corruption towards others happens because humans strive for power, and in the cycle of corruption, humans will corrupt anyone to get to where they strive to be.
